Glenn gives Annie a drawing she likes, winning over her heart. Annie spends the rest of the day trying to coax Glenn into romancing her. All he wants to do is draw, though.
This is the entire animation as it was meant to be seen! It's a whopping 13 minutes long, so don't watch if you don't have that much time to spare. I updated the first half as well, rendering 'part 1' obsolete. So if you haven't seen it already, don't bother, it's included in this. (unless you want to watch it anyway, to see what's different between the two versions or whatever).
Hope you guys enjoyed this, I spent about 9 months-ish working on it (of actual work, anyway), so I hope it pleases! Happy Valentines day!
Doubt it'll happen, but who knows. I know I've written further scripts involving these characters, but the format of a series of this would be a lot different, so I'm not sure if I even should. I mean, they'd have full talking ability if it became a series, and that would kind of ruin part of the original's charm... I can't help but make characters speak, it's sort of what I do. So it may just be better to let this be the only one. Who knows, though, I did love making this one and all.
Yeah, I know I'd probably disappoint more fans for the transition than I'd please. The more positive reviews I've read, the more it's obvious that it needs to be a standalone thing. Perhaps I'll take another approach later though, who knows.
That was truly a masterpiece! The idea behind this was so sweet and Annie's and Glenn's personalities were so captivating. I couldn't tell their ages, at first they looked like 10-12 years old and in the restaurant more like 18-20 years. I don't know if that was your intention but it actually made the story even more intriguing. I got the feeling that Annie and Glenn were separated from the flow of time and that their story got their own space in the middle of all fuss around them.
And I just loved the way how the animation style changed between the digital Flash and traditional looking charcoal animation. That was truly beautiful and it reminded me of the movies I saw during my childhood. The pace was quite fast, it could have been slower and the transitions between the chapters got me winded. But that's matter of taste, I'm sure. The pace actually got me very hypnotized and I couldn't remove my eyes from the movie even for a split second.
The whole movie was mind blowing. Even though the animation was simple and not very detailed, the idea behind it all made it look gorgeous! You got my +10 points and a golden star served with fave!

Well awesome, I'm glad you enjoyed it! That's an interesting take on their seemingly fluxuating age, I like that. I was hoping age would be a lesser concern, but I can see what you mean by their appearances. And yes, I suppose the pace was a bit fast in parts... the only thing I can blame for that would be the music, though, it was kind of faced paced stuff. Still, I'm glad you liked it!
